SonarTech has manufactured and supplied various side scan sonar
systems from single to multi beam as the brand name of SeaView.
SeaView provides four types of side scan sonar systems.
The single-beam system “SeaView**0S” uses frequencies between
**0kHz and **5kHz and supplies high resolution than conventional
systems and it is designed for offshore and hydrographic surveys.
The portable side scan sonar “SeaView**0SS” is a very compact and
waterproof system designed for lake and coastal water research. The
Rescue uses this system for searching drowned body or crashed
things in water. The latest model “SeaView**0M” and “SeaView**0MP
use multi-beam transducers and can be operated up to *5 knots as
the tow speed with very high resolution of image. These systems are
useful for precise hydrographic survey and military purposes.
