The series of the static multi-function watt-hour meters uses the advanced LSIC (Large Scale Integrated Circuits), and a proprietary clock chip, measuring the basic quantities of Wh in both directions, four quadrant VArh and demands with tariff options. The meter can also precisely measure a wide variety of instantaneous quantities including powers, power factors, and all currents, voltages of the three phases and so on in a wide range. The abnormal events such as potentials missing, phase reverse etc. can be recorded with time stamps. The meter is designed and manufactured in accordance with standard IEC****6 or IEC****7. The meter features a real-time clock, a large LCD display screen, an infrared optical port, pulse outputs and LED indicators for active and reactive energy respectively, and standard RS***5 communication port (or RS***2 port). A battery enables data readout in case of power failure. The field reading can be carried out through the infrared optical port using portable computers or HHU (Hand Held Unit).
