SEALZ Fire & Smoke seal has been designed for use in fire resisting doors to retard the passage of smoke in a fire situation.

SEALZ Fire & Smoke seal has been designed for use in fire resisting doors to retard the passage of smoke in a fire situation. The seal restricts the spread of smoke by reducing the flow through the air-gaps between the door leaf and door frame or separate leaves during the early stages of a fire.


SEALZ Fire & Smoke seal produces a voluminous intumescent foam in the event of a fire, thereby exerting a high enough pressure to restrain movement of the door edges adjacent to the seal. The product is ideally suited for smoke control doors.


SEALZ Fire & Smoke seal contains a high density ambient temperature pile seal which has a polyproylene fin for improved smoke control at ambient temperature.


SEALZ Fire & Smoke is supplied in a PVC casing of various colours and wood grains available too. The product has available width of *0mm up to *8mm and lengths of 2. 1m with thickness of 4mm. The pile height projects 5mm from the PVC holder which is ideal for sealing the average gap of 3 to 4mm between door and frame. The product has a self adhesive fixing method.
