When used with Gyro X the *****3 is a 3 second angular, Automated pointing total station. The Sokkia SRX SETX Total Station incorporates the Sokkia SSF Field on board program with Surveying applications. The Sokkia Mesh Scan Survey program is also included.

These total stations implement the gyro calculation programs as well as work as surveying instruments to enhance efficiency and productivity on all survey projects after the measurement of true north.

GYRO X uses a suspended gyromotor that oscillates around the earth's meridian (true north) due to the principle of precession caused by the rotation of the earth. This principle realizes faster and more precise measurement than other solutions.
