Roller Bearings are capable of taking heavy radial loads and allow for shaft misalignment. Spherical Roller Bearings consist of two rows of spherical rollers which align themselves in the outer race. Depending on the application, several types of cages are available. Spherical Roller Bearings are manufactured with three lubrication holes situated in a groove in the outer ring

For special applications, some spherical roller bearings can also be produced in a sealed version with contact seals on both sides.
The seals are made of an oil and wear-resistant rubber (such as acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, NBR) and are reinforced with sheet steel.
The designated suffix is 2CS.
The seals are inserted in recesses in the outer ring. For smaller bearing sizes, the seals are pressed into the recesses, while the seals for the larger sizes are held in position by retaining rings. The seals have two sealing lips on the inner ring raceway in order to provide an efficient seal.
Sealed bearings are standard available with a cylindrical bore, but, if required, can also be supplied with a tapered bore.
