Spiral Vibration Damper
spiral vibration damper are motion-control products designed to eliminate wind vibration that can occur across a cable span. Made of weather and corrosion resistant plastic, these dampers have large spiral shaped vibration dampening sections that fit the size of the cable. A smaller clamping section gently grips the conductor. Using the recommended number of spiral dampers minimizes bending strain and protects the cable from long-term fatigue caused by breeze vibration.

Explanatory notes. (1) When the cable diameter is 0.**1" and below, a maximum of three SVDs can be installed in one position.(2) On cables larger than 0.**1" diameter, only two SVDs need to be combined in order to obtain the best damping performance.
