This baseplate is made of lexan® and is used for patient head-neck immobilization, during radiotherapy treatment, by simultaneous use of thermoplastic masks ( type U- frame). It accurately stabilizes the frame of thermoplastic mask. A variety of thermoplastic materials of different patterns and thicknesses is available in the market: You may choose the most suitable type according to the radiotherapy scheme.
