Standard ( Basic ) surgical gowns Are intended for surgery with a low risk of bacterial transmission via wet contact with blood or body fluids. The gowns are made of SMS,or SMMS,or SSMMS fabric with out additional reinforcement.They have an over lapsterilebackand a neck closure of either Velcro or snaps.
Special -( Reinforced ) surgical gowns
Are designed for surgery where the risk of bacterial transmission via wet contact with blood or body fluids is high.The gowns are made of heavy weight SMS,or SMMS,or SSMMS fabric.In addition to the fluid-repellent material,the gowns have another layer of fabric on the inside of the sleeves and the inside of the front.
Front reinforcement is limited or extended. Gowns have an over lapsterilebackand a neck closure of either Velcro or snaps.

High risk and Uurology:The high-risk gowns are intended to be used in surgery with a very high risk of micro-organism transmission or surgery with abundant fluid in combination with long duration. Gowns are made of heavy weight SMS or SMMS, or SSMMS fabric. Gowns have inside reinforcements of the front and on the inside of the sleeves with impermeable material which protect the whole front part of the gown as well as the sleeves.
