Talc Powder is a non-metallic mineral and it's chemical name is known as Magnesium Silicate. The theoretical chemical formulas is 3MgO.4SiO2.H2O

Many different types of plastics are now being replaced by talc reinforced polypropylene (PP). Talc improves PP rigidity and it is widely used in automotive applications where vehicle's weight can be reduce.

Talc in coatings, due to its inertnes, improves adhesion and anticorossion, increasing the paint's durability. Talc helps coating manufacturers to formulate low VOC content paint, reducing solvent emissions which benefits the environment and health of users.

Talc is also widely use in plastics, rubber, paint, coating, fertilizers, agrochemicals as a carrier, paper making, cables, ceramics, construction, cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical etc
