When I visited customers to discuss cooperation, especially the
first cooperation, they hoped that we would set up a warehouse
locally instead of doing FOB export, which reflects a question
of how to build trust. In other words, how do buyers choose a
trustworthy tire supplier?
1. Choose factories and trading companies with large sales.
These companies sell hundreds of millions or even billions of
dollars of goods every year, are strong, have good cooperation
with banks, and basically have no risks. However, agency is an
unavoidable problem, because most of their countries have
established an agency system.
2. Choose a company with a long operating time.
Companies that have been in business for more than ten years
are basically well-run companies. They have accumulated many
long-term cooperative customers, understand the markets of
various countries, focus on market operations and product
development, and rarely default.
3. Choose companies that are often seen at exhibitions.
Many exhibitions in the tire and auto parts industries are held
around the world every year. Dozens of Chinese companies are
frequent visitors to these exhibitions. On the one hand, this
shows the strength of the team, and on the other hand, it also
establishes a stable channel for communication with customers
and has a good reputation.
4. Choose those tire suppliers that supply large wholesalers in
various countries.
Well-run tire suppliers have established good cooperative
relationships with large wholesalers in various countries. If
their products are not yet represented in your country, it is a
good opportunity for you. Of course, they may require more
purchases.
In summary, choosing a good brand and supplier can not only
ensure your stable supply and financial security, but also
provide good after-sales support and brand promotion support to
agents. It is a win-win choice.
