Description :
KI 66 / 67 thermal protector are widely used in industrial ,home appliance & electrical equipment . The KI 66 / 67 series can effectively and reliably guard against damage caused by over current and over heat . The shell is made from PBT engineering plastic which is heat resistant and heat conductive .
KI 66 / 67 consist of heat conductive metal shell / heat conductive plastic shell ,bimetal welded with silver alloy contact point , electric conductive frame , insulated fixing base ,passive contact plate , and thermal resistant lead .
Electric current go through the bimetal parts which is with impedance , when in unnormal condition , with electric current increase or ambient circumstance temperature rise to cause the temperature increase to rated action temperature , the bimetal quickly act , contact point open ,circuit shut off .
When the equipment temperature decrease to safe operation temperature , the contact point will reset to its initial stage .
