High density W alloy is a series of tungsten alloys combined with some of other alloying elements including Ni, Fe, Cu, Co, Mo, and Cr etc. They are classified in several groups as W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu, W-Co, W-WC-Cu, W-Cu and W-Ag according to alloying elements and applications. With the characteristics of high density, high modulus of elasticity & strength, high hardness and rigidity, excellent electrical & thermal conductivities, low thermal expansion coefficients, high absorption to X-ray and g-ray, better welding and machining ability，they are found widely applications in space, aeronautics, military, petroleum drilling, electrical device, meter and medical systems as well. In these materials, sheets especially thin ones are used the most largely and frequently, even they are the most difficulty to be processed. Based on some pattern technologies of company, thin sheet of high density W alloy has been mass-produced and exported to many countries and regions such as USA, MEXICO, and EUROPE. The High Density W Alloy Sheet is awarded the Advanced Hi-Tech. Transfer Project by the government.
