This is a multifloral honey harvested in the wild areas of Beiras Region and obtained trough an experienced practice of transhumance. It benefits from different floral varieties, including 4 types of Heather, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Furze, Hollyhock, Thyme, Lavender and Borage. Very smooth and delicate it gathers the preference of the majority of consumers.

With recognized health benefits, it strengthens the immune system, acts as antitussive, antiseptic, antioxidant and mineralizer. It is one of our most prized honeys.

Honey is an important complement to a healthy human diet, not only for its high energy value, but also for it's richness in nutrients that are so beneficial to the balance of our bodies, such as vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids. In its composition we find Sugars of the monosaccharide type, *8% to *0%, Glucose (*1%), Fructose (*8%), Maltose (7%), as well as other complex sugars. Lipids 1% - fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and palmitic. Proteins. Mineral Salts, 2%, mainly Copper, Manganese, Iron, Sulphur, Phosphorus and Borio. Colour, flavour and consistency typical of the product. All types of honey present slight variations in their appearance and composition according to the location where the honey was harvested. Slight differences may be found even between different harvests. These variations are determined by the influence of other flowering present in its composition, soil type, climate and even handling the beekeeper (more details in product description).
