Established in the year ***3, Mandovi Dry Docks has become one of the most widely respected full-service ship yard in Goa. Situated at the bank of the river Mandovi, the dockyard is strategically located to service the repair, modification and new build needs of its customers. The Company was established by Mr. Prabhakar Sawant, a professional engineer cum entrepreneur who boldly forayed into the field in the year ***0. He was earlier associated with Chowgule shipyard and in ***6 joined Goa shipyard as senior welding engineer. He emphasis on quality and International Manufacturing Standards has helped the company to grow ever since its establishment. The shipyard initially started with repairs and dry docking. In fact it was one of the few yards which could take ***0 dwt size vessels for dry docking. The shipyard has taken major dry docking repair for various types of vessels like barges, ferry boats, fishing trawlers, patrol boats, catamarans, mini bulk carriers, pantoones, dredgers, tugs, fiberglass boats etc.
