DOSAGE FORM: Syrup. ACTIONS: Unikids with Lysine, Vitamins, and Minerals is prepared in the dosage form of syrup and provides essential substances which act to enhance resistance, stimulate digestion, help children have a good appetite. Lysine is an essential amino acid which helps children have a good appetite, increases metabolism, absorbs well nutrition. Lysine helps to strengthen calcium absorption and maintenance, prevent lysine elimination out of the body. Therefore, Lysine helps children grow height and prevent rickets. Lysine is considered not to be provided sufficiently in children. The deficiency of lysine is reported to cause growth retardation and anorexia in children. In addition, Unikids contains B-group vitamins needed for normal metabolic function, calcium and phosphorus required for formation of bone mass. The insufficient provision of vitamins and minerals is reported to cause disorders such as asthenia, lassitude, decreased vitality, weakened resistance, reduction of recoverable speed during convalescent period. DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION: Unikids can be diluted with water or mixed with food, orally taken o­nce daily before breaskfast or lunch. Children aged 1 - 5 years: oral dose of 7.5 ml/day (1.5 coffee-spoons). Children aged > 6 years and adults: oral dose of *5 mg/day (3 coffee-spoons). Shelf-life: *4 months
