Plant at a glance
History
The biomass power plant generated electricity
and heat for district heating. It was commissioned in ***8 in
Western Europe and in operation until shut down in March ***4, for
economic reasons (higher wood prices and decreasing demand of
district heating). The plant is in excellent condition and
available for immediate sale and relocation to other potential
places.
Technology
Two boiler units deliver steam to a common
header, from which the steam is delivered to a condensing steam
turbine.
