Product Description

Arlita vermiculite is one of the safest and most unique minerals

in the world with a long history of applications in construction,

agriculture, horticulture and industrial markets. Vermiculite is a

hydrated magnesium aluminum silicate which resembles mica in

appearance, when subject to heat, has the unusual property of

exfoliating or expanding into elongated concertina like particles.

Vermiculite, when expanded is lightweight, incombustible,

compressible, highly absorbent, non-reactive yet compatible as a

functional filler. It can have high cation exchange capacity and

the surface chemistry may be modified.
