Black grass jelly is a dessert made from the leaves of the starling tree (black jelly). Exploiting as dew ginseng, but flute dew leaves can only be processed after drying. The stems and leaves of the flute are harvested (dried for storage), crushed, cooked in water, combed and added flour (cassava, rice). Cooled product will solidify, pure black color is eaten with sugar water and essential oil (usually synthetic banana oil). Starling mist is said to have cool properties, helps lower blood pressure, treat colds, joint pain. The flute is often mixed with other ingredients to make sweetsoup.
