Virgin Coconut Oil
The term "Virgin" is used to emphasize that, all nutrients in a nut/seed/ or fruit is preserved when it is converted to the format of oil. For example if leafy greens or veggies are cooked components like vitamins, anti-oxidants, are lost and the maturation percentage of each nutrient is a bit altered. Thus, if an oil (coconut, olive, avocado) is termed "virgin", the original fruit/nut is "COLD-PRESSED" (Like squeezing out oil of a fruit or seed by hand or in Sekkuwa. There is no high heat generation). The fruits/nuts used for the pressing should also be fresh in its original form. It cannot be dried in sunlight for weeks (like in copra), or heated with fire to take out moisture.

King coconut 
(Cocos nucifera) is a variety of Coconut native to Sri Lanka where it is known as Thmbili. Less sugar content than regular coconuts, there are several sub varieties of the king coconut-the most common being the "red dwarf" (kaha thmbili, commonly referred to as gon thmbili). The other variety is "Ran Thmbili" a smaller variety containing about forty nuts in a bunch. The king coconut tree is shorter than coconut trees, and are found commonly growing wild in many areas of the country.
King coconut water has been used in  (herbal medicine). One of the most common uses is a mixture of Artalu powder  added to the water of a king coconut.
There are many cultivated coconut varieties found in Sri Lanka. Most of them undergo research through the National Coconut Research Institute. According to research, the National Coconut Research Institute identified these varieties during a recent coconut exploration mission in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka.
