The VPSA process is the same as that of PSA. The difference lies in adsorption under atmospheric or slightly above atmospheric pressure, vacuum pump desorption. Compared to PSA process, VPSA has complex process equipment and higher investment but low power consumption, suitable for large scale oxygen production.
