Water test kits: TDS meter + water electrolyzer:

1. What is TDS?

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total amount of mobile chargedions, including salts or metals dissolved in a given volume of water. TDS, which is based on conductivity, is expressed in parts per million (PPM) or milligrams per liter (mg/L). TDS includes any inorganic element present other than the pure water molecule (H2O) and suspended solids. TDS affects drinking water quality consumption. For drinking, the lower TDS level of the water, the better for your health.

Why should you measure the TDS level in your water?

The EPA Secondary Regulations advise a maximum contamination level (MCL) of **0mg/liter (**0 parts per million (ppm)) for TDS. Numerous water supplies exceed this level. When TDS levels exceed ***0mg/L it is generally considered unfit for human consumption. A high level of TDS is an indicator of potential concerns, and warrants further investigation. Most often, high levels of TDS are caused by the presence of potassium, chlorides and sodium. These ions have little or no short-term effects, but toxic ions (lead arsenic, cadmium, nitrate and others) may also be dissolved in the water.

Even the best water purification systems on the market require monitoring for TDS to ensure the filters and/or membranes are effectively removing unwanted particles and bacteria from your water.

TDS Reference:

        ***0 ppm: Pure Drinking Water

        *****0 ppm: Tap Water

        ******0 ppm: Washing Water

        above **0ppm: Polluted Water

The U.S. EPA’s Maximum Contaminant Levels of TDS for human consumption is **0 ppm.

2. Products function:

A) TDS meter: 

TDS meter is for measure electrical conductivity (EC,µS/cm), total dissolved solids(TDS, mg/L), temperature (°C) and Fahrenheit(°F) of water.

B) water electrolyser:

Water quality electrolyser provides us with a simple and cheap way to test water quality.

For the examination of water quality, you need take two cups (**0~**0ml, transparent, one cup holds well or tap water ,the other cup holds purified water) and emissions on the table. Then, put two ends of the tool into two cups, press the ON, the test begins. Usually the test time is *0 seconds.

Remarks: 1. Take care of electric shock;

                2. Do not touch the rods once the precipitator is plugged into an electric outlet.

3. Testing:

       TDS ≥*0ppm, red light, non-drinking water

        TDS < *0ppm, green light, direct drinking water
