Product Description

Drainage boards are also known as: drainage boards, bump drainage boards, hydrophobic boards, drainage protection boards, plastic drainage (storage) boards, plastic drainage tabs, etc. The substrate is made of high-impact and high-compression polystyrene (HIPS) and HDPE and can resist long-term high pressure without deformation. This long-term resistance not only withstands the weight of the concrete substrate and its load, but also the inevitable external pressures and impacts during construction, such as vehicles, trampling by workers and the impact of concrete filling. The substrate remains undeformed for a long time, thus maintaining the original drainage capacity. The purpose of the filter layer of geotextile on the substrate is to ensure that the drainage channels are not blocked by foreign objects, such as backfill particles or concrete.   Replacing the cobble filter layer with a drainage board saves time, energy and investment, and reduces the load on the building.

Water conductivity and drainage: Drainage protection boards have a convex and concave hollow structure with geotextiles attached, which can quickly and effectively export rainwater and greatly reduce or even eliminate the hydrostatic pressure of the waterproofing layer.

Waterproofing: The drainage protection board material itself is a very good waterproofing material. By using high-temperature hot-fusion welding connections, the drainage protection board becomes a good secondary waterproofing material.

Protection: Drainage board protects the structure and the waterproofing layer and is resistant to acids and alkalis in the soil and to plant roots and thorns. It protects the building and the waterproofing layer from damage when backfilling the external walls of the basement.
