 non-rotating stabilizer (rubber sleeve stabilizer )is a special tool in drilling to avoid blade wear and wall damage. During drilling, stabilizer transfer torque by depending on mandrel body, but rubber sleeve is sliding coordination which can be moved relatively, as a result, the sleeve plays a role of supporting of holewall. The sleeve is made of special elastic material and fixed by a latch clutch to prevent from rotating. When installed in the drill string, the protruding part of drill pipe can’t touch the casing’s inwall,so that reducing the chance of colliding, wearing, and deforming as well as prolonged the piecing of drill pipe’s life.
