Optoscape stand-alone media converters comply with IEEE**2.3, IEEE**2.3u and IEEE**2.3x standards. It is designed to convert data signal between *0/**0Base-Tx and *0/**0Base-Fx fast Ethernet. The data signal converted by such high performance of the media converters can be transmitted up to **0km by optical cable. The converters are equipped with two optical connectors, one for transmitting-Tx and the other for receiving-Rx, and one RJ**5 port supporting auto-negotiation MDI/MDIX. Six LED indicators are built-in for diagnosing and monitpring the working status of the device. The media converter is compact, cost-effective, low power consumption, reliability and stability.
