General Description

Crafted from high-grade medical stainless steel 465 or 17-4 (17-3), this tendon stripper offers exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. The ergonomic polymer handle ensures firm grip and stability during minimally invasive tendon extraction under arthroscopy.

Available in diameters from ø5 mm to ø9 mm, with standard or customized lengths (e.g., 300mm and 440mm), this closed-loop stripper minimizes tissue trauma and allows surgeons precise control during graft procurement.

Intended Use  

Designed for harvesting autologous tendon grafts (such as semitendinosus or gracilis) during ligament reconstruction procedures, particularly anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction under arthroscopy.

 

Indications:

• ACL or PCL reconstruction using autografts

Contraindications:

• Patients with severe soft tissue infection in the operative site
