Chondroitin sulfate
exists in animal cartilage species and is an acidic
mucopolysaccharide extracted from cartilage tissues of
fish, pigs, and cattle. There are three specifications:
bovine chondroitin sulfate, chicken and duck
chondroitin sulfate, and fish sulfur
chondroitin.
Function:
1.Chondroitin
sulfate has a protective effect on corneal collagen
fibers, promoting the growth of fibers in the matrix,
enhancing permeability, improving blood circulation,
accelerating metabolism, promoting the absorption of
osmotic fluid, and eliminating
inflammation;
2.Its polyanions have
strong water retention properties , can improve the
water metabolism of corneal tissue, have strong
affinity for the cornea, and can form a breathable
water retention film on the surface of the cornea,
improving the symptoms of eye dryness. By promoting the
generation of matrix and providing a framework for cell
migration, it is beneficial for the migration of
corneal epithelial cells, thereby promoting the healing
of corneal wounds, the absorption of exudate, and the
elimination of inflammation.
