Bi-Directional Toslink Digital Extender(MB-BAD*6) allows ADAT Light pipe(*-CH ADAT in and *-CH ADAT out ),S/PDIF and other protocols Toslink Digital Audio and Power signal to be transmitted over Cat5/6 Cable,up to **7ft(**1M),in point-to-point configuration.it is built in ESD surge suppressor to protect Toslink Interface equipment against damaging voltage spikes.  MB-BAD*6 supports most standards to transmit one ADAT Light pipe，uncompressed lossless PCM audio or compressed 5.1/7.1 surround sound,such as Dolby® Digital Plus or DTS High Resolution Audio (Multi channel Digital Audio Dolby Digital® 5.1, DTS,and Dolby® True HD).the power(DC*2V) is transmitted over Cat5/6,So just either Transmitter or Receiver unit needs to be powered.Used in pairs,and can be used in Digital 8x8 snake with Recording Devices,Interconnection of ADAT enabled equipment,digital mixers and so on.
