Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass Cloth is constructed from fiberglass base cloth and impregnated / coated on one side or both sides with specially formulated silicone rubber. It is a high performance engineering material designed to meet the requirements for advanced applications. The elastic layer of silicone rubber can enhance abrasion and corrosion resistance, electric insulation, tearing strength as well as prolong the product’s service life.
Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass Cloth is widely used in
aerospace, petrochemical industry, machinery and equipments, heat
and cold insulation areas. It can be used as flexible pipeline
coupling and non-metallic compensator to avoid damage to the
pipes caused by heat expansion and cold contraction. It is a
thermal insulation and anti-corrosion material for chemical
reactors. It also can be made into conveyor belts and used as
sealing materials as well as electrical insulation
materials.
