ARAS was founded in ***7 and registered as a Free Zone Entity in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our experience in material handling has been gained with a wide range of client companies – regional and multi-national, SME and corporate – in the fields of cargo handling, unit-manufacturing, third-party logistics (3PL) and more. The company derives its name from its late founder, Arastou Etemad Emami. He originally qualified as an industrial engineer in Hamburg, Germany, and went on to run a number of businesses, including a machine factory in Lauenburg, also in northern Germany. Building on his extensive knowledge of German engineering excellence – and responding to an evident market need in the Gulf Region for superior material handling equipment – ARAS was born.
