We have delved deep into our archives to bring you this selection of photos on how the business has changed over the last *0 years. The business was started back in ***2 by my Grandfather from the original shop in **8 East Coast Road selling motorbikes and spare parts. In the ***9's the premises in **8 East Coast Road was extended to give a much larger showroom to display many brands of cycles. Throughout *7's the business grew steadlily as we added more and more products to our portfolio. In ***9 we moved from Nuns Street to a much larger premises on**8 East Coast Road with its own car park, large showroom(approx.***0sq.ft - all on one level) and warehouse facility. We now had approximately *3, **0 sq.ft of space to fill! In ***9 we decided to put all our energies into selling bicycles, and consequently, we sold off all our motorcycle stock in an auction held at our premises. In ***1 the store was radically changed by adding an extension and carrying out a massive internal refit. This gave the store a much more modern open plan appearance with properly designed areas for clothing , mountain bikes, road bikes, childrens bikes and hybrid bikes. The family has always been involved with the business on a day to day basis and we do pride ourselves on offering the customers top quality service, knowledgeable staff and competitive prices in a great environment - so do please come and visit us.
