Description

The MTData dats***0 Tracking System provides many different hardware components to track trucks, trailers and vehicles. The dats***0 Tracking Client is a common interface for all the different hardware components, providing functionality to configure the units, fleets of vehicles and to track and monitor vehicles. The dats***0 Tracking Client interfaces with the MTData server, which for larger fleets of vehicles is recommended to be installed in-house. Smaller fleets of vehicles can use the MTData server to access vehicle information. The dats***0 Tracking Client can be installed on individual PCs or a Windows Terminal Services Server, to allow multiple users access to the system. The dats***0 Tracking Client supports Windows ***0 or later operating systems. A number of screens are available to manage your fleet of trucks, trailers or vehicles. These include a live mapping screen which allows you to view your vehicles and trailers positions on maps, an historic mapping screen for viewing past vehicle and trailer travel routes, and an exception screen for alerting you to exceptions that occur, for example, speeding, high G-Force, excessive idling. The configuration options within the system are extensive. They include a configuration setup for the vehicles reporting habits, vehicle details such as registration and phone numbers, way point configuration for setting up depots and customer sites, and route point configuration for managing fixed route travel. You can also configure truck fleets, owners and drivers for each vehicle. A large number of reports are provided which give summary and detailed information about vehicle trips taken over different time periods, utilization of vehicles, fuel economy, amount of time spent at customer sites and incidents such as speeding.
