It displays a higher protein binding capacity for polar proteins. MEDIBINDING polystyrene surface is more hydrophobic than that of the Maxibinding plate and is therefor mor suitable for non-polar protein and peptides. UNIBINDING polystyrene surface is suitable for absorption of hydrophobic molecules. MULTIBINDING, adsorption of hydrophillic molecules is applicable while hydrophobic molecules will not adhere to this type of surface.
