Description

Hoodia Gordonii is a spiny succulent plant found in the arid parts of Namibia, South Africa and Botswana. The Kalahari Desert stretches over all three of these countries and is the favourite habitat of this plant. 

Hoodia is protected by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Permits are required to grow or trade with Hoodia. We believe that wild Hoodia populations must be protected at all cost and only cultivated plants should be harvested.

They lived in this area for thousands of years and have used Hoodia without any known side effects as an appetite suppressant, thirst quencher, aphrodisiac and energy booster.
