【Name】Hepatitis B vaccine (Hansenula Polymorpha Yeast)
【Ingredient and
Character】
The vaccine is
prepared in the surface antigen of hepatitis B virus (HBsAg)
expressed from recombinant Hansenula yeast after undergoing
purification process and adsorption of adjuvant. It is a white
suspension that can be stratified due to sedimentation and be
easily disrupted by shaking without any blocks left. The main
composition is HBsAg; Adjuvants include aluminum hydroxide, sodium
chloride, thiomersal.
【Indications】
The vaccine is
applied to persons vulnerable to hepatitis B, including the
following susceptible in particular:
(1) Infants,
especially those infants born from HBsAg and HBeAg positive
mothers.
(2) Staff in
medical institutions and blood product
institutions.
(3)There are
carriers of hepatitis B hepatitis B patients or family
members.
【function/use】The
product can induce immunity against hepatitis
B virus in recipients following immunization. It is
used to protect human against hepatitis B.
【Specification】1.0
ml/vial, per single human dose. The potency of the rabies vaccine
shall be not less than 2.5 IU.
