Leak Testing Machine for Alloy Wheel Rims
Twin chambers (**0 pc/h)
The automatic loading/unloading system provides, during each
rotation, loading of a rim on the testing place and unloading of
the rim previously tested.
• Inside the test chamber, internal and external zone of the
rim are separated and evacuated.
• Inlet of *0% helium mixture at 2,5 bar abs. is done in the
external zone while the internal zone is connected to the leak
detector.
• If a helium flow higher than the reject level, typically
around ***4 mbar l/s, is detected, the wheel rim is considered
defective.
Composition of the system
· Conveyors for feeding and discharging of the
components
· Automatic system for loading, placing and unloading the
wheel rims from the testing place
· Test chamber
· Pneumatically equipment including vacuum pumps, valves,
sensors, piping and all the
components needed for evacuation of the test chamber and
helium supplying.
· Mass- spectrometer leak detector
· Power switchboard and auxiliary electric devices controlled
by PLC and touch-screen display.
· Helium recovery system
· Calibration control made by Calibrated Leaks
