DAP is white powder. Its density is 1.**9g/cm3. The melting point of DAP is **5ºC decomp. DAP is soluble in water, *7.5g/**0mL(*0ºC), **6.7g/**0mL(**0°C), and insoluble in alcohol, acetone and liquid ammonia

Usage:

DAP is used as a fertilizer. When applied as plant food, DAP temporarily increases the soil pH, but over a long term the treated ground becomes more acidic than before upon nitrification of the ammonium. DAP is incompatible with alkaline chemicals because its ammonium ion is more likely to convert to ammonia in a high-pH environment.

In industry, DAP is mainly used for printing plate, medicine, fireproofing and radio tube manufacturing and other industries. DAP is also applied to dip wood and drapery. Additionally, It is also used for phosphorus in powder fire extinguishing agent and fluorescent light making.

DAP is also applied to biochemical treatment of wastewater, ceramics and porcelain enamel making. DAP is used for fire retarding agent of rocket engine’s insulation in war industry. Used for ferment nutrition in food industry.
