Passive and **2.3af POE uses pins 4/5 for plus power, and 7/8 for ground.

Many popular devices like Ubiquiti use this method to centralize the power source - you can go for **8 ft with a *4v supply to a typical Access Point.

Connect the power supply you need (*4v for Ubiquiti, *8v for **2.3at or **2.3af) and reduce the mess of cables. Reboot all *2 devices from one central location.
