Purpose and scope
The instrument is designed and made as per T***0 Asphalt Rotation Thin Film Heating Test in the JTJ**2 Test Regulation of Highway Engineering Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture of Industry Standard of Peoples Republic of China. It is suitable to determine mass loss of highway asphalt rotation thin film which has been heated and the change of penetration, viscosity, ductility and breaking point of asphalt residue after the thin film has been heated to evaluate the aging performance of asphalt.
The instrument is also suitable to do test as per ASTM D***2 Test Methods for Determine Effect of Heat and Air to the Asphalt Moving Film (Rotation Thin Film Oven Test).
