The Berny date is red-brown color, skinny and long cylndrical shape. It is grown in many regions in Saudi Arabia. There are many classes of Berny dates: Mabroom (1st class), Mashrok (2nd class) and Regular (3rd class).
Regular (3rd class) contains mixed sizes of fruit. It
may have minor skin imperfections and will have some loose or
broken skin. They are still very good but they don't make Mabroom
(1st class) or Mashrok (2nd class).
