High-precision
steel moulds are rolled by steel plates, then produced by welding,
heat treatment (removing internal stress), rough turning, fine
turning, grinding, polishing and other techniques, which is unique
in the markets with moulds of high precision and smooth finish
degree and easy demoulding therefore the produced tubes are spare
in materials.
Howerer for large diameter GRP pipes, it is very
expensive to manufacture steel moulds; thus we could also adopt
steel structure as the framework and process GRP as the surface.
This combined structure has the characteristics such as simple
production and low cost. In China, more than *5% of GRP pipe
manufacturers are using this type of combined GRP moulds to
manufacture qualified GRP pipes in compliance with international
standards and export them to the overseas market.
