The Hcel ® series products are made of high-purity modified
cellulose fibres.The Hcel ® NaT wound dressing is a dressing made
from sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose while the Hcel® HT
dressing is made from an acid form of carboxymethylcellulose. The
Hcel® HT wound dressing distinguishes itself by gradual
exudate absorption, by maintaining the acidic pH (a pH-modulating
dressing) and by having bacteriostatic properties. On the other
hand, the Hcel ® NaT dressing absorbs exudate quickly.
The company of Holzbecher offers:
• Finished wound dressings of the Hcel® series as a dressing
intended for wet wound healing suitable for acute, surgical and
chronic wounds.
• Development of customized Hcel®-based biocompatible
materials (products).
The Hcel® and Hcel® NaT series products are currently available as
Class IIa and IIb Medical Devices. Further products are being
developed.
