Detectable warning
tape Detectable warning tape is embedded steel tracer
wires that can be located using standard cable and pipe locators
used with non-metallic pipes and un-energised
cables. As a backup, the highly-visible, printed
tape will also show within the spoil during
any subsequent excavation.
Detectable warning tape is laid at half depth in
the trench above a pipe or a cable. • Unique design allows wires to elongate
