Nowapara Jute Mills Ltd. was incorporated as public limited company on *9 June ***7 under the companies Act ***3 as a Jute goods manufacturing & exporting company.
Initially, the company produced Hessian, Sacking and CBC under Unit*1. Thereafter, it established Unit*2 ***8 for specialized yarn manufacturing to reap the benefit of growing international market of yarn use as intermediate raw material in carpet industry as weft yarn. It further established unit*3 in ***8 to respond to respond to the growing demand for superior quality Twine / Yarn in the foreign market for newer version of high speed CRT/CRX/CRP carpet looms. In ***9 the company started commercial production of Geo-Textile (Commonly known as soil-saver) used to stop erosion of land as the third manufacturer in Bangladesh. The company is currently constructed another Unit for manufacturing specialized/diversified jute products for export.
