There are all kinds of cakes-fruit cakes,chocolate cakes,coconut
cakes,etc.Sometimes we buy them in a shop.Sometimes we make one
ourselves.
We like cakes.We especially like Christmas cakes.My mother oftten
makes for us at Christmas.To make a Christmas cake we need these
things:
1 Lb flour
1/2 Lb sugar
1/2 Lb butter
1/2 Lb mixed fruit
2 cups of milk
3 eggs
1/2 lemon's juice
2 tsp of baking soda
Now we can make a cake with those things.First we beat eggs.Next we
mix flour,butter and eggs.Then we put fruit,lemon juice,milk and
baking soda into them and mix well.Finally we put them in an oven
and bake for three hours.A nice cake is done!
