Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as Super-Steel and Steel-Match, is a high performance engineering plastic and can be made into many kinds of componets as a substitute for Zinc, Bronze, Aluminum and steel. As one of the top 5 engineering plastics(PA, PC, POM, PET or PBT, PPO)
 
Properties : 
POM has the advantages of high hardness, creep-resistance, fatigue-resistance, dimensional stability, good formability, and high gloss. It maintain the properties of excellent durability, wear resistance, and long term lubrication when contact with inorganic pharmaceuticals and oil.
