OMEGA , Butyl Mastic Tape is a high tack, self-fusing butyl rubber mastic ideal for making water and humidity resistant seals. OMEGA Butyl Mastic Tape, may be overwrapped with vinyl tape to create a reliable weatherproof seal around cable connections and other weather-sensitive devices.

Butyl Mastic Tape is a high tack sealant with excellent adhesion to cable jackets and other insulating materials. It maintains its tack and flexibility to temperatures as low as 0°F (**8°C), ensuring a high quality seal over a wide range of temperatures. It may be overwrapped with vinyl tape to create a weatherproof seal with excellent resistance to environmental factors such as water, condensation, dust, UV and sunlight over a range of temperatures. 

Butyl Mastic Tape, has a *-year shelf life from date of manufacture when stored in a humidity controlled storage (*0°C/*0°F to *7°C/*0°F and <*5% relative humidity).
