The Ecalbio™ AflatoxinB1
Residues Test (code M-AFB**1) is a rapid assay based on colloidal
gold linked antibody-binding technology that allows you to detect
AflatoxinB1 molecules in feed sample. Without sample treatment, the
whole detection time is only *0 minutes, and the sensitivity can
reach 5µg/kg (ppb).

Reaction Mechanism
The Ecalbio™ kit(code M-AFB**1)
is based on the principle of a competitive antigen-antibody
reaction. The test requires using of two elements. The first
element is one microwell that containing the antibody linked to
colloidal gold. The second element is one test strip made up by a
set of membranes with capture line. One is the control line and the
other one is the specific test line. The unique line for Aflatoxin
M1 is located below the control line. When the reagent in the
microwell is re-suspended with a feed sample, antibody could bind
the corresponding analysts during the first *-minutes incubation at
*0℃. Afterwards, when the test strip is dipped into the microwell,
the liquid starts running vertically on the test strip and passes
through the capture zone. When the sample is free of AflatoxinB1, a
colour development occurs at the specific capture line, indicating
the absence of the concerned analysts in the feed sample. On the
contrary, the presence of Aflatoxin B1 in the sample will not cause
the colored signal to appear at the specific capture
line.
