Imidazolidyl urea is a new generation of cosmetics preservatives, used in the cosmetics industry, is the most widely used preservatives in addition to paraben ester, antibacterial spectrum is wide, almost can be compatible with all cosmetics raw materials, use concentration of 0.*5% ~ 0.5%, the most suitable pH3 ~ 9, can be added at any stage of cosmetics manufacturing, and paraben ester compound show synergistic effect. The antibacterial effect was better than Germall**5, and it was especially effective against pseudomonas, bacteria, molds and yeast, and also effective against the variant of C. coli negative bacteria. Widely used in cream, lotion, shampoo and some difficult anti-corrosion cosmetics, also can be used as food and medicine preservative.
