Smith Natural Virgin Coconut oil is the natural coconut oil extracted from the kernel of the finest fresh matured coconuts harvested from coconut plantations in Sri Lanka. We call it virgin because it is extracted from freshly shredded coconut meat through unique natural process where all the valuable characteristics, constituents, and nutrients of coconut oil are preserved, without undergoing chemical refining, bleaching or deodorizing, and which does not lead the alteration of the nature of the oil, no chemical or high heat treatment is used. It is the purest form of coconut oil, crystal white in colour, contains natural vitamin E and has not undergone atmospheric or hydrolytic oxidation as attested by its low peroxide value and low fatty acid content. Because of its high stability it does not contains Trans-fatty acids or free radicals
