Al-Arab was found by late Al-Syed Monem Al-Adawy in Bombay in ***6. He came to India from Cairo /Egypt and was the first Arab Journalist to Land in the subcontinent in the early thirties as correspondent of the Leading Egyptian Newspaper at that time (Al-Misri), the official organ of the Then Wafd Party. He then Moved to Karachi after partition and established Al-Arab as the first Arabic Magazine in the sub-continent. Al-Arab expanded its business from journalism to consultancy in March ***7 and now to commodity / general trading.
